river, you are 2 and a half today and your birthday really seems like so long ago. you are such a joy to be around. you love your sister, giving her big hugs several times a day. you are very into puppies, both real and stuffed. you are so into counting and you beg to watch your elmo counting video almost immediately upon getting out of bed. you love to swing. you love to jump down steps. you are speaking more and more, even tonight saying "we" for the first time when we prayed at bedtime. you have started the typical 2yo thing of asking "why?" whenever i ask you to do something. you like shooting baskets and your creative little mind can make anything a basketball and hoop.
your daddy and i love you so much. we all think you are a sweet sweet boy.
