- the story begins in lubbock where george and betsy met as young life leaders at texas tech. their 5th year they began dating and falling in love. they were married at the creek house on may 28, 2006. on valentines day 2008 they found out they were gonna be parents. river redding berre was born october 11th, 2008 and is proud big brother to flora jolene berre, born on may 5th, 2010. we are all in love with our third child, walker rose berre, who was born november 6th, 2011. it is truly a wonderful life.
